Wow, Justin. It's hard to share this much personal information. Don't think that your online community doesn't appreciate the honesty. Churches are filled with very human people, so they aren't perfect places, and I'm sure that what you did for the church, the kids, and the community at large was valuable. (I think one of the hardest jobs in the world is youth ministry.)

Anyway, just feel the encouragement of the community that you have created - (I'm positive the people on Medium are multi-generational!) - and know that we appreciate you and are cheering you on to whatever comes next.
