I, too, have written for Medium for years, have a 100% curation rate --- (some editor out there must like me!) -- have posted 346 stories many of them to the "biggies," written even more responses, created two publications, and have 973 followers. I have NEVER even gotten close to $100 in income.

I write because I LOVE to write and because I believe I can share something interesting or helpful to others. Sadly, it's never earned me much income.

Your approach is giving me yet another nudge to move away and spend my time putting all these articles into ebooks and querying publications who may pay me more for these articles far more than I'll ever make on Medium.

I still appreciate Medium for its ease of use and will always post here, but I've given up the hope that it will be a valid revenue stream.
