Oh, wow! I LOVED the novel Angle of Repose and have always respected Wallace Stegner. At one point in my life, I thought about doing intensive research on Mary Hallock Foote for a series of articles about women in the American West.

I'm always interested in stories about plagiarism and literary dishonesty, and now, thanks to you, I have another one to track down. (Even if I end up disillusioned about Stegner and The Angle of Repose!)
