History of Yesterday gave me what I originally came to Medium for: interesting, thoughtful, well-researched articles. As a writer for that pub, I am pulling my articles off Medium and transferring them to the new site because, as you point out, my articles in History of Yesterday always outperformed my other pieces. I want to support the editor, Andrei, and his vision to bring quality, well-written, intriguing pieces to readers. Since my earnings on Medium are minimal, I have nothing to lose in following the History of Yesterday to its new site.

Medium is still my daily go-to for publishing and reading, but I want to be open to new arenas with proven success.
