Wow. Thank you for this. With little understanding of the "backside" of Medium, I feel clueless as to how things work. What you, as an editor, have told me, helps me so much. I, too, had stories I was really proud of - and a few of them were recommended - published in PSILY, The Blank Page, Modern Parent, etc, that are no longer pubs. Now, History of Yesterday is leaving, too, so I am glad to know what I should do. I didn't know that all that work is just floating out there, drowned and lifeless.

Thank you SO MUCH for this help. It is much appreciated. I'm going to work on removing all those stories, leaving the pubs, then polish them up and resubmit.
